PLN 16

For PLN 16, I read the article "Tainted water kills fish in Glenwood." What is important about this is that an estimated 190 gallons of bleached pool water was dumped into the Colorado River, killing 84 fish. This is important because if the tainted water continues to run down stream, it could potentially kill fish in other states as well. A lot of people fish out of the Colorado River and if they catch a poisoned fish, it could affect their health in severe ways and could possibly kill the person. We need personal reassurance that it will never happen again. Not just a guess or a statement that says "we will try to make sure that this issue doesn't happen again." I believe that after yesterdays election, there should be a whole group of people that try to prevent an issue like this, not give us the illusion of protection.
